Our Pills Talk Medication Safety

Our Pills Talk Medication Safety App scans a specially designed QR barcode on medication packaging and displays the prescription information on the screen. The text can be automatically translated into any one of dozens of languages. The info is then spoken out loud.

This app is ideal for people who have difficulty reading the information and instructions on the prescription label. This includes the visually-impaired, dyslectic, autistic, the elderly, ESL (English-as-a-Second Language) patients, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islanders, as well as those of us too lazy to read our medication labels.
The Our Pills Talk Medication Safety app makes it easy for you to ensure that you take the correct medicine.

The app currently works with prescriptions dispensed from most pharmacies in Australia. Simply tell your dispensing pharmacist that you’d like an Our Pills Talk QR code added to your prescription labels.

The app also has an alarm system that shows notifications on your phone or tablet, to remind you to take your medicine and when to refill the prescription. Set as many alarms for each medicine as you need.
