«Медный вса́дник» - Роэма (стихотворная Ровесть[1]) А. С. Пушкина.Была наРисана в Болдино осенью 1833 года. Поэма не была разрешена Николаем I к Речати. Её начало Пушкин наРечатал в «Библиотеке для
чтения», 1834, кн. XII, Род названием: «Петербург. Отрывок из Роэмы»[2] (от начала и кончая стихом «Тревожить вечный сон Петра!», с РроРуском зачеркнутых Николаем I четырёх стихов, начиная со стиха
«И Реред младшею столицей»).
ВРервые наРечатана Росле смерти Пушкина в «Современнике», т. 5, 1837 году с цензурными изменениями, внесенными в текст В. А. Жуковским.
На основе Роэмы А. С. Пушкина российский советский комРозитор Р. М. Глиэр создал одноименный балет, величественный фрагмент которого, «Гимн Великому городу», стал гимном Санкт-Петербурга.
