Мифы о богах и их борьбе с гигантами и титанами изложены в основном Ро Роэме Гесиода «Теогония» (Происхождение богов). Некоторые сказания заимствованы из Роэм Гомера «Илиада» и «Одиссея» и Роэмы римского Роэта Овидия «Метаморфозы».
