אדירים

דירים הינו מושב מעורב אשר אוכלוסייתו מורכבת בעיקר מדתיים, אך גם מחילונים ומסורתיים. המקום נמצא דרומית לעפולה וכ-10 ק"מ מזרחית לצומת מגידו. מושב אדירים הינו מושב ציורי וכפרי אשר בתיו הראשונים עלו על הקרקע לפני כ-55 שנה. סיפורו של המושב מתחיל בשנת 1956 והוא הוקם על ידי עולים חדשים ממרוקו בתור יישוב "חבר" הראשון. היישוב שוכן בחבל תענך, ובדומה ליישובים רבים הסמוכים לו, גם שמו של אדירים לקוח משירת דבורה ("אז ירד שריד לאדירים עם").
יום, תושבי מושב אדירים הינם חקלאים ובעלי מקצועות חופשיים. תושבי המקום נהנים יום-יום מאווירה גלילית מיוחדת במינה וממגורים בעמק יזרעאל המרוצף בשדות חקלאיים ומאגרי מים. הירוק התמידי המקיף את היישוב, והגישה הנוחה למרכז הארץ, הפכו את אדירים ליעד מבוקש בקרב משפחות צעירות. בשנים האחרונות, תושבי המקום פועלים גם בענף התיירות וזאת בעקבות הפריחה האדירה בתחום באזור עמק יזרעאל בפרט, והצפון בכלל.
