אמץ

המושב נוסד בשנת 1949 על ידי קבוצת חיילים שהשתחררו מהצבא לאחר מלחמת העצמאות, וביקשו להקים התיישבות חקלאית. הקבוצה הראשונה התבססה על יוצאי רומניה והונגריה.
המקום נבחר בשל קרבתו לתל קקון, יישוב ערבי-ישראלי שכל תושביו ברחו כאשר הכפר נכבש על ידי חטיבת אלכסנדרוני. המשפחות המייסדות הראשונות התגוררו עד לבניית הבתים במבנים הנטושים בתל קקון.
מקור שמו של המושב הוא כפול: גם פסוק מספר איוב "...וטהר ידיים יוסיף אומץ...", וגם בגלל שנוסד על ידי חיילים משוחררים יוצאי גדוד 32 חטיבת אלכסנדרוני, ולכן נקרא בראשי תיבות : ארגון משוחררי צה"ל.
המושב ממוקם בעמק חפר המזרחי. שטחו כ-2,800 דונם שעליהם 62 משקים המאוגדים באגודה שיתופית חקלאית.
ב-1992 הצטרפו כ - 40 בתים צמודי קרקע של תושבים חדשים. בשנת 2002 החלה הרחבה נוספת של עוד כ-32 מגרשים לבני המושב ובעתיד מתוכננת עוד הרחבה של כ-36 מגרשים נוספים המיועדים לבני המושב.

בתחילת הדרך עסקו רוב החברים בחקלאות. במהלך 10 השנים האחרונות חל שינוי וכיום רוב החברים אינם מתפרנסים עוד מחקלאות ופנו לעיסוקים אחרים גם מחוץ למושב.
ענפי חקלאות
במושב כ-370 דונם אבוקדו, וכ-200 דונם הדרים. בנוסף ישנם כ-40 דונם חממות ירקות, כ-60 דונם בתי רשת פרחים וכ-60 דונם מטעים שונים. משק החלב עדיין פועל בחלק מהמשקים והוא מונה כ-700 פרות אשר מניבות כ-7 מיליון ליטר חלב בשנה.

ישנו גם מרכז מזון לייצור מזון לבעלי החיים - בעיקר פרות - המשווק את תוצרתו לישובים באזור, וממוקם לצד תל קקון.

כיום לומדים ילדי המושב בבתי הספר "יובלים" בגבעת חיים, וב"שחר" ו"מעין" בקיבוץ עין החורש.
במושב ישנו גם גן ילדים חדש המשמש את שנתון הילדים בגילאי 3-4. גני הילדים הנמצאים ביישובים הסמוכים, אחיטוב וגן יאשיה, משמשים גם את ילדי אמץ בשנתונים אחרים.

במושב מבני ציבור כמו צרכניה, בית עם, מזכירות, בית כנסת, מגרש כדורסל ומגרש כדורגל. ישנה גם ספריה חדשה. It was established in 1949 by a group of soldiers discharged from the army after the Revolutionary War, and sought to establish an agricultural settlement. The first group was based on the former Romania and Hungary.
The place was chosen because of its proximity to Tel Kakun, Arab-Israeli settlement all the inhabitants fled when the village was occupied by the Division of Alexandria. The first founding families to build houses lived in abandoned buildings in Tel Kakun.
Source name of the session is twofold: Job well verse "... and cleanse hands will add courage ..." and because that was founded by ex-soldiers from 32 Brigade Battalion in Alexandria, so called acronyms: IDF veterans organization.
Emek Hefer seat is located east. The area approximately 2,800 acres on which the 62 economies that are bound to agricultural cooperatives.
In 1992, joined about - 40 private homes of new residents. In 2002 the further expansion of another 32 plots of the seat and another planned future expansion of approximately 36 additional plots designated for the seat.

In the beginning most of the members were engaged in agriculture. During the last 10 years changed and today most members do not earn their living from farming and turn more to other pursuits outside of the seat.
Agriculture
Seat 370 acres of avocado, and 200 acres of citrus. In addition there are 40 acres of greenhouses vegetables, 60 acres net houses and 60 hectares of flowers of different plantations. Dairy farm is still working some economies and is appointed about 700 cows that are producing about 7 million liters of milk per year.

There is also a food center for the production of animal feed - mainly cows - marketed its products towns in the region, and is located next to Tel Kakun.

Today, children learn in school seat "tributaries" Givat Haim, Bills "and a sort of" Kibbutz Ein Horesh.
Seat also has a new kindergarten used data of children aged 3-4. Kindergartens located in nearby communities, Achituv Garden Yoshiya, are also used in the other cohorts adopt children.
