( يا أيها الناس قد جاءتكم موعظة من ربكم وشفاء لما في الصدور وهدى ورحمة للمؤمنين ) أي قد جاءكم كتاب جامع لكل ما تحتاجون إليه من موعظة حسنة لإصلاح أخلاقكم وأعمالكم الظاهرة ، وحكمة بالغة لإصلاح خفايا أنفسكم وشفاء أمراضها الباطنة ، وهداية واضحة للصراط المستقيم الموصل إلى سعادة الدنيا والآخرة ، ورحمة خاصة للمؤمنين هي شجنة من رحمة رب العالمين ، العامة للخلق أجمعين ، يتراحمون بها فيما بينهم ، فتكمل بها رحمته تعالى لهم ، ورحمته للعالمين برسوله إليهم وبهم ، وقد عرف هذا من تاريخهم أشهر فلاسفة التاريخ من الإفرنج فقال : ( ( ما عرف التاريخ فاتحا أعدل ولا أرحم من العرب ) ) فكأن الله تعالى يقول للناس ، بعد بيان هذه المقاصد الأربعة للقرآن . فما بالكم أيها الناس تكذبون بما لم تحيطوا به علما من أخبار هذا الكتاب ، التي هي من علم الغيب عن المآل والمآب ، ولا تفكرون في آدابه ومواعظه ، وأحكامه وحكمه ، وهداية نواميسه وسننه ، وما فيها من المنافع والمصالح ، التي لا يماري فيها عالم ولا يكابر فيها عاقل ؟ حتى إن أشد أعداء الرسول إيذاء له وصدا عن دعوته في أول ظهورها لم يستطيعوا الطعن على ما دعا إليه من الفضائل والخير والبر ، وما نهى عنه من الرذائل والشرور والفجور ، كأبي سفيان عندما سأله هرقل قيصر الروم ، وعمرو بن العاص عندما سأله أصحمة نجاشي الحبشة ، فإن كان ذلك قد خفي على بعض الجاحدين والمقلدين لهم من المشركين قبل تعميم نشر القرآن فيهم ، وقبل ظهور ما كان له من التأثير العظيم بعد انتشار الإسلام في العرب ، ومن الإصلاح الديني والمدني في شعوب العجم ، أفليس من العجب العجاب أن يماري به أحد بعد ذلك ويصدق ما يفتريه عليه دعاة الكنيسة ورجال السياسة من الإفرنج وتلاميذهم وهم أكذب البشر ؟ ! .
