لحمل رسالة الإسلام والتضحية في سبيلها بالنفس والمال، فكانوا يتدارسون السيرة ويحفظونها ويلقنون أطفالهم إياها، كما يلقنونهم السور من القرآن.

روى زين العابدين «على بن الحسين» - رضى الله عنهما - قال كنا نعلّم مغازى رسول الله علية كما نعلم السور من القرآن».
فما أجدرنا رجالا ونساءً، شبابا وأطفالا ؛ أن نتعلم سيرة خاتم النبيين صلى الله عليه و سلم
ونعلمها لغيرنا ليتخذوا منها براسا يسيرون على ضوئه فى تربية الأبناء والبنات وتنشئة جيل يؤمن بالله ورسوله.
