النابلسي: الشيخ عبد الغني بن إسماعيل بن عبد الغني المعروف بالنابلسي الدمشقي. ولد بدمشق سنة (1050)هـ، وشغله والده بقراءة القرآن ثم بطلب العلم, وتوفي والده في سنة اثنين وستين وألف, فنشأ يتيماً, واشتغل بقراءة العلم. كان مصون اللسان عن اللغو والشتم, ولا يحقد على أحد, يحب الصالحين والفقراء وطلبة العلم ويكرمهم، معرضاً عن النظر إلى الشهوات, كثير السخاء وله كرمات كان لا يحب أن تظهر عليه ولا أن تُحكى عنه. تآليفه ومصنفاته كثيرة فمنها: التحرير الحاوي بشرح تفسير البيضاوي، كثر الحق المبين في أحاديث سيد المرسلين، ذخائر المورايث في الدلالة على مواضع الأحاديث، توفيق الرتبة في تحقيق الخطبة، الجواب التام عن حقيقة الكلام، القول العاصم في قراءة حفص عن عاصم نظماً على قافية القاف، علم الملاحة في علم الفلاحة، تعطير الأنام في تعبير المنام... كتاب تفسير النابلسي اول كتاب تفسير الاحلام بالحروف. توفي في (1143)هـ, ودفن بالقبة التي أنشأها وغلقت البلد يوم موته لكثرة الناس.
