ظاهرة الشعر الحديث" دراسة نقدية للكاتب المغربي أحمد المعداوي المجاطي الشاعر والباحث المغربي الكبير وهي عبارة عن رسالة جامعية تقدم بها الكاتب لنيل دبلوم الدراسات العليا في الأدب العربي وتعد من الدراسات الأولى التي انشغلت بموضوع التجربة الشعرية الجديدة التي أطلق عليها المؤلف مصطلح الشعر الحديث".
1.التطور التدريجي في الشعر الحديث.

يتمحور حول الموضوعات التالية.

ب) لغة أقرب إلى لغة التداول سهلة وبسيطة للوصول إلى الجماهير
ت) لغة بعيدة عن لغة التداول تعتمد مفردات قديمة تحمل مضامين جديدة.
2) اللغة الشعرية :
والحاصل في معالجة المجاطي للصورة الشعرية أنه خلص إلى ثلاث تجليات لها في الشعر الحديث

أ)توسيع أفق الصورة نفسها لتصبح أكبر وأدق على ضم الاحتمالات المتصلة بأعماق التجربة الشعرية
ب) الحد من أفق الصورة وذلك بأحكام ما يجمع بينها وبين بقية صور القصيدة قصد الابتعاد عن النزعة التقريرية
ت)إزالة المسافات الزمنية والمكانية عبر تغذيتها بالرموز والأساطير القديمة.
