شاهنامه (بخش اول)

شاهنامه اثر حکیم ابوالقاسم فردوسی توسی، حماسه‌ای منظوم در بحر متقارب مثمن محذوف و دربرگیرندهٔ نزدیک به ۶۰٬۰۰۰ بیت و یکی از بزرگ‌ترین و برجسته‌ترین سروده‌های حماسه‌ای جهان است که سرایش و ویرایش آن گنجینه، دست‌آورد دست کم سی سال رنج و تلاش خستگی‌ناپذیر این سخن‌سرای بزرگ ایرانی است. درون‌مایهٔ این شاهکار ادبی، اسطوره‌ها، افسانه‌ها و تاریخ ایران از آغاز تا حمله اعراب به ایران در سدهٔ هفتم است که در چهار دودمان پادشاهی پیشدادیان، کیانیان، اشکانیان و ساسانیان گنجانده می‌شوند و به سه بخش اسطوره‌ای (از روزگار کیومرث تا پادشاهی فریدون)، پهلوانی (از خیزش کاوه آهنگر تا مرگ رستم) و تاریخی (از پادشاهی بهمن و پیدایش اسکندر تا گشایش ایران به دست اعراب) بخش‌بندی می‌شود.
