"الملك المفترس" كتاب من تأليف الصحافيين الفرنسيين إيريك لورون -مؤلف كتاب "ذاكرة ملك" عن الحسن الثاني- وزميلته كاترين غارسييه -مؤلفة الكتاب الشهير "حاكمة قرطاج" (عن زوجة زين العابدين بن علي)-، ظل
الكتاب ضمن قائمة أكثر الكتب مبيعا في فرنسا لمدة أسابيع. وعلى الرغم من عدم دخول نسخته الورقية للمغرب بشكل معلن، إلا أنه تسلل وسط أمتعة المسافرين، أو عبر خيوط شبكة الإنترنت، متحديا الرقابة التي منعت
مُقتطفات منه بعد ذلك عندما دخل إلى المغرب. يتحدث الكتاب عن "ثروة ملك المغرب محمد السادس، وعلاقات تحكمه في السياسة عبر الاحتكار في الاقتصاد".
عنوان الملك المفترس قد يبدو للوهلة الأولى مستفزا إلى درجة التحامل أو
مبالغة إعلامية لجذب القارئ! لكنك عندما تفرغ من قراءة الكتاب تقتنع بأن
العنوان ليس مبالغة ولا تحاملا، بل هو الحقيقة الصادمة لواقع المغرب،
والترجمة الصادقة لهيمنة الملك محمد السادس على خيرات البلد، لذا يغدو
مصطلح المفترس مناسبا، علما أن بعض الحيوانات تترفع عن الافتراس
عندما تشبع.
