معراج السعاده

نراقى دريايى مواج و بحرى عجاج بود، در فنون معموله استادى ماهر و در علوم متبوعه استوانه كامل؛ اديبى سراينده و فقيهى برازنده… نراقى نويسنده‏اى ماهر و مؤلفى ناصح بود كه معراج السعاده او جهت خوشبختى مردمان و كشكول او به اسم خزائن مشهور است.

احمد بن محمد مهدی بن ابی‏ذر، مشهور به ملااحمد نراقی، فرزند عالم بزرگوار محمد مهدی نراقی صاحب جامع السعادات است. در روستای نراق، از توابع شهرستان کاشان در سال‏های ۱۱۸۵ ه . ق به دنیا آمد و در سال ۱۲۴۴ ه . ق وفات یافت. او از بزرگترین اسباب آوازه پدرش بود. در تألیفات نیز گام به گام، مرید پدر بوده و از شیوه تفکر و بررسی علمی پدرش تأثیر می‏گرفت. برای مثال، پدرش در فقه، معتمد الشیعه را می‏نویسد و او مستند الشیعه را به گونه‏ای مفصلتر و مشروح. پدر دیوان شعری به نام طائر قدسی می‏نگارد و پسر طاقدیس را. پدر مشکلات العلوم و پسر خزائن را. در اخلاق نیز کتاب معراج السعادة را به پیروی از کتاب جامع السعادات پدرش نگاشته است. حدود سی کتاب در شعر، فقه، اصول فقه، اخلاق و ریاضی به ایشان نسبت داده شده است. معراج السعادة، ترجمه کتاب جامع السعادات به زبان فارسی است که به درخواست فتحعلی شاه قاجار با اندکی اضافات در باب عدالت و اخلاق اجتماعی و سیاسی تألیف شده است. این کتاب، به چهار باب و چندین فصل تقسیم شده است.

باب اول: درباره شناخت نفس و چگونگی تهذیب اخلاق و به دست آوردن ملکات نفسانی است.

باب دوم: در سبب بدی اخلاق و بیان قوای نفس و اموری که پیش از شروع به علم اخلاق، معالجه آن لازم است.

باب سوم: در بیان حفظ تعادل اخلاق نیکوست.

باب چهارم: در بیان انواع اخلاق است. در این باب، انواع صفات خوب و بد را نام برده و در هر صفتی افراط و تفریط در آن و راه معالجه آن را بیان کرده است.
