بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
الحمد لله رب العالمين وصلى الله وسلم على سيدنا محمد خاتم النبيين وعلى ءاله وصحبه الطيبين وبعد فإن علماء هذه الأمة هم حماة هذا الدين المتين، ونور الله المبين قد شيدوا من الشريعة مبانيها وسددوا معانيها وأحكموا محكمها وأظهروا مبهمها فجزاهم الله عن الإسلام وأهله خيرًا. وهم وإن تباينت أقوالهم واختلفت آراؤهم من جهة الفروع الفقهية فقد ساروا على المنهج القويم في اقتفاء النبي الكريم، فكلمتهم في أصول الدين واحدة لا يتجاوزون القرءان والحديث.
ولقد شاع في الأثر واستفاض لدى الحذاق من أهل النظر أنه لابد في كل عصر ومصر للدين من حـَمَلة، وللعلم من نقلة، لقوله تعالى: (فَلَوْلاَ نَفَرَ مِن كُلِّ فِرْقَةٍ مِّنْهُمْ طَآئِفَةٌ لِّيَتَفَقَّهُواْ فِي الدِّينِ وَلِيُنذِرُواْ قَوْمَهُمْ إِذَا رَجَعُواْ إِلَيْهِمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَحْذَرُونَ) (التوبة 122) وقوله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" لا تزال طائفة من أمتي ظاهرين على الحق حتى تقوم الساعة ". رواه البخاري ومسلم.
وهاكم ثلة منتخبة من العلماء المعاصرين من الذين تشرفوا بسكنى أرض الحجاز الطيبة، قد أتينا على ذكرهم في هذه الرسالة الوجيزة منبهين إلى ماقرروه في تصانيفهم. فهي نعم الشاهد على توافقهم في بيان مفاهيم الدين وفي اقتفاء سنة خير المرسلين وجعلنا ذلك في جزئين:
الجزء الأول: مأثورات حجازية.
الجزء الثاني: إتباع سبيل المؤمنين.
فنسأل الله تعالى أن يجعل في ما ذكر من النقول عن أهل العلم والفضل النفع العميم، ولمن سعى ويسعى في نشرها الأجر العظيم.
