الحمد لله بجميع أنواعه متواترا متواصلا متكاثرا في جميع الأنفاس واللحظات والطرفات واللمحات يستمر ويدوم بدوامه هو كما أثنى على نفسه خالصا جميلا حسنا مقدسا بتقديسه في قدسه مستغرقا جميع المحامد الظاهرة والباطنة محفوظا عن شوائب علل القطع الواضحة والكامنة فهو الحق المفرد الحامد المحمود واسع الإحاطة الأحد الذي لارب غيره بحق معبود الباطن بأحديته والظاهر بوحدانيته في الوجود. وحدته لا عن قله ووجوده لا لعله. الصمد الذي لم يلد ولا هو مولود سبحانه جل شأنه وتعالى جده من حيث لامؤثر من الكائنات سواه في شئ ولا ثم غيره موجود، له القدرة المؤثرة والقوة الكاملة والعزة المؤيدة والغنى المطلق بلا ريب ولاجحود. أحمده وأشكره وأمجده وأسبحه, أقدسه وأعظمه وأوحده وأصلي وأسلم على عين البيان وسر الفرقان النقطة الممتدة منها حروف جميع الأكوان, القبضة اليمينية والجامعة الحقية سيدنا ومولانا محمد عرش رحمانية الذات وقرآن جميع الصفات وعلى آله وصحبه وذريته أهل بيته أرباب المقامات العلا فى كل لمحة ونفس عدد ما وسعه علم الله العلى الأعلى .
وبعد فأقول أنا الغنى بالله عمن سواه الراجي رحمته إسماعيل بن عبد الله إنه لما رأيت تعلق همم المريدين بالأدعية والأوراد المأثورة وغيرها من تأليف المتقدمين والمتأخرين وتوسلهم بها إلى الله تعالى لقضاء حوائجهم في أمور الدنيا والدين وكنت سابقا ألفت جملة أحزاب وأدعية تداولت بين أيديهم وإستعملها لبلوغ المأرب كل من السالكين حتى صار بعضهم يرقمها في كتاب واحد يقرؤها في كل يوم فإنعقد رأى همم الأكثر منهم على أن أجمعها و أترتبها لهم كأوراد بعض المتقدمين ولما رأيت كثرة الطلب لي في ذلك واضحا على حقيقة لسان سائله ولاحظت حديث الدال على الخير كفاعله وإعتبرت الأحب إلى الله تعالى من الأعمال هو ما داوم عليه كل ساعي مع أن الدعاء مطلوب في جميع الأمور الأخروية والدنيوية من الخلق لله تعالى لأمره بذلك لأنه سميع قريب مجيب يجيب دعوة الداعي وقد وافق السؤال الحال وخطر فعل ذلك بحصول إشارة على البال فوضت الأمر إلى الله تعالى مستخيرا وقصدت الإذن النبوي خاضعا خاشعا ضارعا مشيرا فدلت الخيرة على الخير في فعله بالهواتف الإلهية والأمارات الرحمانية القدسية وصح التصريح في الإذن النبوي فيه بالمجامع الإنسية ومنه فهمت أن من إستعملها لأي أمر ما من الأمور الدنيوية والأخروية يبلغه بلوغا تاما ببركتها وبركة السر الحاوية له ويحصل له النفع الدنيوي والأخروي وأعز مايبغيه بها من الأشياء المطلوبة المرضية ومن ثم جمعتها كلها مع زيادة وتغيير في أصلها وسميتها روضة السالكين ومنحة أهل الدنيا والدين ورتبتها علي أوراد في السبعة الأيام تبدأ بيوم السبت لمن أحب قراءتها في أيام الأسبوع ويكون بيوم الجمعة الختام ومن لازم قراءتها كلها في يوم وأدام العمل بما فيها نعم عمله ومن لم يطق فبحسب طاقته على قدر ما يبلغ بها أمله ومن أراد التمسك بحزب أو دعاء منها على حسب الوضع القديم فله ذلك فليحافظ عليه ويعتصم بالله السميع العليم، جعلها الله تعالى مقبولة يجرى بها النفع لمتعاطيها ومستعملة عند كل من يقف عليها مرغوبا فيها وها هو وضعها المذكور وترتيبها المأثور كما جرى عليها الوارد الإلهي ليلة الجمعة سادس شهر الله جمادى الثاني عام ألف ومائتين وثلاثة وستين من هجرة خاتم المرسلين صلى الله عليه وعلى آله وصحبه أجمعين عدد ما وسعه علم الله المبين.
