ودواء سيماغلوتايد هو ثالث دواء يحقق مثل هذه النتائج الإيجابية للقلب بعد دواء حقن فيكتوزا الذي تنتجه نوفو، وأقراص جارديانس من إنتاج إيلي ليلي وبورينجور إنجلهايم.

وقال سورين لونتوفت المحلل لدى سيدبانك في تصريحات لرويترز “هذه البيانات القوية تشير إلى أن نوفو ستبدأ دراسة أكبر وأطول عن تأثير سيماغلوتايد في القلب والأوعية الدموية لإظهار منافع طويلة الأجل”.
