پاسپورت خوان APPLICATION description
این برنامه می تواند تراشه های تعبیه شده در گذرنامه های الکترونیکی و سایر مدارک مسافرتی منطبق بر استاندارد ICAO را بخواند و آن ها را مورد بررسی و تایید قرار دهد.
این مدارک به طور کلی طبق استاندارد ICAO، مدارک مسافرتی قابل خوانده شدن توسط دستگاه (Machine Readable Travel Documents) یا به طور مخفف MRTD نامیده می شوند.
این برنامه باید محدوده قابل اسکن توسط دستگاه (Machine Readable Zone) یا به طور مخفف MRZ را اسکن کند تا بتواند به چیپ تعبیه شده در گذرنامه دسترسی پیدا کند. این محدوده در صفحه اول گذرنامه و درست در زیر عکس و مشخصات وجود دارد.
پس از اسکن MRZ، با تماس دادن پشت دستگاه و گذرنامه، برنامه شروع به خواندن و نمایش محتویات چیپ گذرنامه می کند.
این اطلاعات شامل عکس و اطلاعات هویتی صاحب گذرنامه، اطلاعات صدور گذرنامه، اعتبار و ... است. پس از نمایش محتویات، چک های امنیتی مانند احراز هویت فعال، اعتبار سنجی امضاء مدرک و اعتبار امضاء کشور انجام می شود و نتایج دقیق نمایش داده می شود.
