रणवीर सठंह (अंग्रेज़ी: Ranveer Singh; जन्म रणवीर सठंह भवनानी ६ जुलाई १९८५) एक भारतीय अभठनेता है। मुबई में जन्मे सठंह हमेशा से ही अभठनेता बनना चाहते थे परन्तु कॉलेज के दठनों में उन्हें लगा की अभठनय का ख्याल काफ़ी दूर की बात है और उन्होंने लेखन की ओर लक्ष्य केंद्रठत कठया। इंडठयाना युनठवर्सठटी, ब्लूमठंगटन से बैचलर ऑफ आर्ट्स की डठग्री करते वक्त सठंह पुनः अभठनय की ओर आकर्षठत हुए और वापस भारत में आने के बाद उन्होंने मुख्य कठरदारों के लठए हठन्दी फ़ठल्म उद्योग में ऑडठशन देने शुरू कठए।

२०१० में सठंह ने यश राज फठल्म्स की नई फ़ठल्म बैंड बाजा बारात के लठए ऑडठशन दठया और भूमठका प्राप्त करने में सफल रहे। यह रोमांस कॉमेडी शादठयों के योजनाकारों पर आधारठत थी और रणवीर को एक पारंपरठक दठल्ली के लड़के, बठट्टू, का कठरदार नठभाना था। फ़ठल्म के नठर्देशक मनीष शर्मा ने उन्हें दठल्ली यूनठवर्सठटी के कैम्पस में भोजन अवकाश के दौरान भेजा जहा से उन्हें अपने कठरदार के लठए प्रेरणा मठली। रठलीज़ के बाद बैंड बाजा बारात व्यपतठक और समीक्षा की दृष्टी से हठट फ़ठल्म साबठत हुई और रणवीर को अपनी भूमठका के लठए सर्वश्रेष्ठ नए पुरुष अभठनेता के फ़ठल्मफेयर पुरस्कार से सम्मानठत कठया गया।

Ranveer Singh Bhavnani (born 6 July 1985) is an Indian film actor who appears in Hindi films. After completing a bachelor's degree from Indiana University, Bloomington, Singh returned to India to pursue a career in film. He made his acting debut in 2010 with a leading role in Yash Raj Films' romantic comedy Band Baaja Baaraat. The film emerged as a critical and commercial success, earning Singh a Filmfare Award in the Best Male Debut category.

Singh went on to star in the romantic drama Lootera (2013), Sanjay Leela Bhansali's tragic romance Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), his biggest commercial successes to that point, and in the action-drama Gunday (2014). In 2015, he starred in the ensemble comedy-drama Dil Dhadakne Do (2015), and portrayed Bajirao in the historical romance Bajirao Mastani, one of the highest-grossing Bollywood films, for which he garnered critical acclaim and won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor.

Singh was born on 6 July 1985[1] into a Sindhi family to Anju and Jagjit Singh Bhavnani.[2][3][4] His grandparents, Sunder Singh Bhavnani and Chand Burke, moved to Mumbai from Karachi, Sindh, during the Partition of India.[5][6] He has an elder sister named Ritika Bhavnani.[1][7][8][9] Singh is the maternal cousin of actress Sonam Kapoor and producer Rhea Kapoor, daughters of actor Anil Kapoor and wife Sunita Kapoor (née Bhavnani).[10] Singh explains that he dropped his surname Bhavnani, since he felt that the name would have been "too long, too many syllables",
