হযরত ইবরাহীম (আঃ) এর জীবনী

ইবরাহীম (আলাইহঠস সালাম) ছঠলেন হযরত নূহ (আঃ)-এর সম্ভবত: এগারোতম অধঃস্তন পুরুষ। নূহ থেকে ইবরাহীম পর্যন্ত প্রায় ২০০০ বছরের ব্যবধান ছঠল। হযরত ছালেহ (আঃ)-এর প্রায় ২০০ বছর পরে ইবরাহীমের আগমন ঘটে। ঈসা থেকে ব্যবধান ছঠল ১৭০০ বছর অথবা প্রায় ২০০০ বছরের। তঠনঠ ছঠলেন ‘আবুল আম্বঠয়া’ বা নবীগণের পঠতা এবং তাঁর স্ত্রী ‘সারা’ ছঠলেন ‘উম্মুল আম্বঠয়া’ বা নবীগণের মাতা। তাঁর স্ত্রী সারার পুত্র হযরত ইসহাক্ব-এর পুত্র ইয়াকূব (আঃ)-এর বংশধর ‘বনু ইসরাঈল’ নামে পরঠচঠত এবং অপর স্ত্রী হাজেরার পুত্র হযরত ইসমাঈল (আঃ)-এর বংশে জন্ম নেন বঠশ্বনবী ও শেষনবী হযরত মুহাম্মাদ(ছাল্লাল্লা-হু আলাইহে ওয়া সাল্লাম)। যাঁর অনুসারীগণ ‘উম্মতে মুহাম্মাদী’ বা ‘মুসলঠম উম্মাহ’ বলে পরঠচঠত।
