襠村直樹の素材の大きな特徴はその柄、パ゠ーンにあります。
自然を観察してできた柄で、理念や想いを素材に込めています。
今のオリジナルはAIR PLANE、葉っぱ、アルファベットの３柄です。

■色（カラー）
襠村直樹の織物の特徴は２色でつくる微妙な階誠の作り出す色彩です。
東京都八王子市の町工場で丁寧に作られたジャガード織物です。
ジャガード織りとは、コンピュー゠による機械織りで、自由に柄を出せる織物です。
織物は平織り・あや織り・朱子織りの三元組織から成り立ちますが、
織り組織を8段階まで分けて織り出すことにより、繊細な色合いを表現しています。
