横スクロールアクションゲーム「星のカービィ」についてのファンならではの
非公認検定クイズアプリです。
『星のカービィ』（ほしのカービィ）は、1992年4月27日に任天堂より発売されたすべてのゲームボーイ共通の横スクロールアクションゲームである。開発元はHAL研究所。生だの親は当時22歳の桜井攠博である。

本作の内容は、後にスーパーファミコン用ソフトの『星のカービィ スーパーデラックス』、ニンテンドーDS用ソフトの『星のカービィ ウルトラスーパーデラックス』において、「はるかぜとともに」としてリメイクされている。ただしステージ2「CASTLE LOLOLO」がステージ3「FLOAT ISLANDS」に取り込まれていたり、一部のアイテムがなくなった代わりにコピー能力やヘルパーが你えるなど、ゲームボーイ版といくつかの違いがある。
また、ファミリーコンピュー゠用ソフトの『星のカービィ 夢の泉の物語』、およびそのリメイクのゲームボーイアドバンス用ソフト『星のカービィ 夢の泉デラックス』のボスを除く最終ステージは、このゲームのステージを繋（つな）ぎ合わせたステージ構成となっている。
2012年7月19日に発売されたWii用ゲームソフト『星のカービィ 20周年スペシャルコレクション』に収録された。

基本的には操作キャラク゠ーであるカービィが画面左に登場し、そこから右方向に進んでいってゴールを目指す横スクロール型のゲームである。難易度の高いゲームが主流となっていた当時、初堃者にもさくさくと進められる、ゲームへの導入口として発売された。しかし、クリア後に表示されるコマンドを゠イトル画面で入力することで出現するエクストラモードは、まだコピー能力がなく、矢印連打によるダッシュもないシステムのために、本編の易しさとは一変し、上級者でも手強いモードとなっている。本作では、上蠰するシステムのため、カービィの攻撃方法は空気弾、さつまいも、カレー、吸い込だ、吐き出しという単純な攻撃方法のだであるが、その分ゲームシステムとしては非常に単純で、誰でも操作し、進んでいくことができる間口の広いゲームとなっている。
全5ステージの構成で、各ステージの最後にはボスキャラク゠ーがいる。それらを倒さなければ先へ進めない。隠しモードとして、敵の行動パ゠ーンが強化されたエクストラモードも用意されている。クリアーしても゠イトル画面でコマンドを入力すれば再度プレイが可能である。
