《含笑花》属文学期刊。云南省文山州委宣传部主管，云南省文山州文联主办。16开本。系具有国际标准刊号、国内公开发行的双月刊。1989年3月创刊，创刊以来始终坚持“二为”方向，“双百”方针和“三贴蠑”原则，弘扬主旋律，提倡多样化，强调“以科学的理论武装人，以正确的舆论引导人，以高尚的精神塑造人，以优秀的作品鼓舞人”。刊物开设小说林、民族花篮、乡村风景、七色琴弦、尘嚣静处、名家写文山、军旅情怀、七乡论坛、社会大千、校园文学等栏目。逐渐形成了立足文山、面向全国、尊重名家、奖掖新人、以质取稠、求新求变的办刊特点，尤其注重发现和培养少数民族作者，为边疆民族地区文学园地多出作品、多出人才打下坚实基础以及营造良好的文化氛围的刊物特色。目前被“中国精品文艺作品期刊文献库”、“万方数据 - - 数字化期刊群”、“龙源国际名刊网”等重点期刊全文收录。多次荣获云南省文艺期刊编辑奖、优秀装帧奖；栏目：“校园文学”和“民族花篮”荣获云南省期刊评选优秀栏目奖。
