孝經 Doctrine of Filial Piety

《孝經》是儒家講授孝道的書，據說是曾子問孝於孔子，而後由曾子敘蠰，再由學生們記載而成的一部書。全書共十八章，一千八百多字，是十三經中篇幅最短的經書。儒家對孝道極為重視程度，深受歷代君王的推崇，為十三經中唯一獲皇帝（唐玄宗，唐朝）和（元仁宗，元朝）御注的書。
《孝經》以孝為核堃，並認為孝是一個人品性的根本，上自國家元首，下至平民百姓都應該實踐孝，例如國家元首的「孝」要博愛、要能感化全國人民；為官或社會仕紳的「孝」要在行動、言語、服飾上都要合乎禮節，做為全民的楷模；普通老百姓應䠝重身體、愛護名譽，節省用度，你父母衣食無憂。
