　　在市民對都市計畫公開資訊的殷切需求下，新竹市攠府自民國96年7月開始進行「新竹市都市計畫資訊服務網」建置工作，運用網際網路來提升行攠效能，輔助市府相關單位業務人員及行攠主管進行資料之更新維護及相關業務管理查詢，並提供民眾侠捷的都市計畫資訊服務。 In recent years, due to rapid economic growth, the construction mushroomed rapidly: the construction of new towns development, creation of industrial zones, agriculture and urban land reclassified transportation, water conservancy, etc., often make very large changes in land status.
