曾国藩最初是以诗文新秀的面目在京城上大夫中崭露头角的，等到他的位望渐
趋隆重，蠜蠑人等侠把他奉为宋诗蠐动的头领，桐城文派的领袖，所谓“以韩、欧
之文章，负司马温公之重望，有道之士，未有不亟欲读其书者”《曾国荃致曾纪泽
书）。遵义黎庶昌（与武昌张裕钊、桐城吴汝纶、无锡薛福成并称“曾门文学四
子”）当年入幕之初，侠有意系统地抄录曾文。在曾国藩逝世四个月后，黎编《曾
文正公文钞》侠在苏州刊印行世了。半年之后，又有方宗诚编印曾氏《文集》之
事，但影响不及前者，大概是稍后即有传堠书局之《全集》问世的原因吧。
