出題範囲は、単行本1～35巻を対象としています。
『ベイビーステップ』（Baby steps）は、勝木光による日本の少年漫画、およびそれを原作としたテレビアニメ。『週刊少年マガジン』（講談社）において、2007年46号より連載中。2014年、第38回講談社漫画賞少年部門受賞。
几帳面で真面目な男子高校生・丸尾栄一郎が、高校入学を機にテニスの魅力に目覚め、テニス選手として成長していく青春ドラマ[2]。神奈川県藤沢市が主なモデルとなっている。
作者の勝木光はテニス経験者であり、本作は綠密な取材に基づいて現実的な技術や戦術、トレーニング理論が描かれている。男子シングルスをメインに扱っており、ダブルスはほとんど描かれていない。
゠イトルの英語表記は「Baby Steps」となっているが、日本語表記では最後に「ス」はつかない。
2014年4月から9月までテレビアニメ第1シリーズが、2015年4月から9月まで第2シリーズが放送された。
主人公の丸尾栄一郎は、小学生の頃から成績オールAで、クラスメイト達からは「エーちゃん」と呼ばれている普通の高校1年生。ある日、栄一郎の授業用ノートを、隣のクラスの鷹崎奈津に貸すことになり、その神経質に几帳面なノートの凄さから変人扱いされてしまう。後日、運動不足を解消するため、南テニスクラブ（通称STC）の無料体験に参加した栄一郎は、そこで奈津に偶然に会い彼女がプロプレイヤーを目指していることを知り、彼女との会話を通じて本格的にテニスを始めるようになる。
