金剛經 APPLICATION description
《金剛經》傳入中國後，自東晉到唐朝共有六個譯本，以鳩摩羅什所譯《金剛般若波羅蜜經》最為流行（5176字或5180字）。唐玄奘譯本，《能斷金剛般若波羅蜜經》共8208字，為鳩摩羅什譯本的一個重要補充。其他譯本則流傳不廣。
《金剛經》通篇討論的是空的智慧。一般認為前半部說眾生空，後半部說法空。《金剛經》於公元前994年間（約當中國周穆王時期），成書於古印度。是如來世尊釋蠦牟尼在世時與長老須菩提等眾弟子的對話紀錄，由弟子阠儺所記載。
