내가 대답하되 주 여호와여 주께서 아시나이다(겔 37:3)

하나님께서 자신의 아들을 이 땅에 보내신 이유는
죄와 사망의 권세에 붙들려 있던 죄인들을 살리시기 위함이었습니다.
마른 뼈다귀와 같이 아무 소망 없던 자들에게 진정한 소망을 주셨고,
비참한 죄인들의 삶을 사랑 받는 자녀들의 삶으로 회복시켜 주셨습니다.

그리스도 안에서 산다는 것은,
그것은 이처럼 놀라운 회복을 경험하는 것이요,
더 풍성하고 복된 자리에 이르게 될 것을 확신하는 것입니다.

지금도 하나님께서는 자신의 백성들의 회복을 위해 일하십니다.
여전히 마른 뼈다귀와 같이 메마르고 황폐한 곳에 생명을 주십니다.
그 하나님의 긍휼하신 마음을 알기에,
오늘도 우리는 회복을 ꠈ꾸는 교회입니다.
