예원여자 중.고등학교 홈페이지 찾아주셔서 감사합니다.
본교에서는 그 동안 중 고등학교를 졸업하지 못한 이유로 사회적 소외감을 안고 살아오던 어머니들에게 중 고등학교 과정을 졸업 할 수 있는 기회를 제공하고자 1999년 교육부로부터 전국 최초로 1년 3학기제 시범학교로 지정되어 중학교과정 운영을 시작하였으며, 2001년부터는 확대 적용한 1년 3학기 고등학교 과정은 2000여명의 예원졸업생을 배출하였으며 현재
1,017명(중학교과정 553명,고등학교과정 464명)의 어머니학생들이 중 고등학교 정규수업에 전념하고 있는 등 평생교육의 전당으로 자리매김해 가고 있습니다.
첫 수업을 시작한 이후 지금까지,우리는 참 아름다운 발자취를 남겼습니다. 쾌적한 수업 환경을 조성하기 위해 교실을 증축하고,지속적으로 변화하는 사회 정세와 어머니 학생들의 요구를 반영하여 탄력적으로 교육과정을 운영하는 한편,소풍,체육대회,학예제,문화 탐방,봉사 활동과 같은 각종 행사를 통해 즐거움을 함께 누려왔습니다.
평생 교육의 선구자로 위상을 높여오면서,학업과 학교 운영에 관한 소식을 보다 신속하게 제공하고 학교발전에 관한 의견을 보다 활발히 수렴할 수 있는 공간이 필요하여,홈페이지를 마련하게 되었습니다.
졸업생에게는 모교가 그리울 때 발자취를 돌아볼 수 있는 공간,재학생에게는 학업에 더욱 도움이 되고 추억을 가득 담을 수 있는 공간이 되었으면 합니다.
