나의 하나밖에 없는 소중한 몸과 마음이 아프거나 다치거나 죽지 않도록 지켜주고 보호하는 것. 안전교육은 위험을 발견하고 위험으로부터 나와 남을 보호하기 위한 지식과 기술과 태도를 가르치는 것. 아는 것을 실천할 수 있도록 하여 삶의 습관이 되도록 가르치는 것.
이 땅에 생명을 가지고 태어난 모든 사람은 그 사람을 둘러싸고 있는 어떠한 조건(돈, 외모, 지위, 성별 등)과 상관없이 주어진 생명 하나만으로 존중 받으며 사랑을 받고 사랑을 나눌 수 있는 세상이 되기를 기대하며 만나는 모든 세대들에게 생명을 전하고 지키는 일이다.
