"너陶, 나陶, 우리陶" 라는 주제로 9월 28일부터 10월 20일까지 개최되는 2013
이천도자기축제는 세계 속 도자 도시로서 이천의 지위를 확인하고, 이천을 대표하는
문화마켓으로 발돋움하고자 합니다.
이번 축제는, 도자로서 대표되는 이천의 지역성을 기반으로 세계의 도자·공예 도시 간의
작가 교류를 활성화하기 위하여 새로이 지역 간 네트워크를 구축하는 한편, 문화 향유의
방식으로서 도자 상품을 제안하는 다양한 기획 프로젝트로 구성됩니다. 또한, 이천을 대표
하는 축제로서, 지역민과 관람객 모두가 즐길 수 있는 다양한 체험·교육·참여 프로그램을
소개합니다.
이번 축제는 제7회 경기세계도자비엔날레와 동시 개막하여 관람객이 도자 상품은 물론
도자 예술의 다양한 범주를 체험할 수 있는 프로그램을 선보입니다.
