2016년 새해가 밝았습니다. 주님의 은혜와 사랑이 모든 성도님들의 가정과 자녀들과 생업 위에 넘치시기를 축원합니다.

2016년 새해 표어는 “주님! 우리로 화해케 하소서”라는 총회의 주제를 따랐습니다. 먼저 하나님과 화해를 이룸으로써 나 자신과 모든 이웃 그리고 사회와 피조세계와의 화해를 이루는 것입니다.

우리는 원망과 책임을 전가하는 자세에서 벗어나 하나님 앞에서 나 자신을 돌아보며 하나님과의 올바른 관계를 통하여 이러한 화해를 온전히 이루어 나가길 원합니다.

올 한해에 우리가 주님의 비전을 우리의 비전으로 받아들여 비전의 공동체가 되기를 원합니다. 담임목사로부터 어린이에 이르기까지 말씀과 성령의 능력으로 제자가 되어 일천일백 세계비전을 이루는 생명의 공동체가 되기를 원합니다.

하나님 나라의 가치관을 받아들이고 순종하는 주님의 제자로 변화되기를 원합니다. 이를 위해 훈련 받기를 힘쓰는 성도들이 되어야 하겠습니다.

또한 우리 교회의 존재의 이유는 선교에 있습니다. 교회 자체를 유지하는 경비를 최소화 하고 힘을 모아 선교에 힘써야 하겠습니다. 모든 부서와 기관에서 이를 실천하기를 원합니다.

그리고 모든 성도들이 한 성도가 한 사역을 감당하는 교회가 되었으면 좋겠습니다. 모든 성도가 능동적으로 자발적으로 사역에 동참하는 교회가 되도록 힘쓰는 교회가 되기를 바랍니다.
