120여년전 복음을 들고 순교의 피를 마다하지 않고 상륙한 젊은 선교사들에게,
그리고 불모지의 땅에서 선교국으로 도약할 수 있도록 은혜 베푸신 하나님에게
사랑의 빚을 졌습니다.

미래 한국은 윗 세대의 믠음을 계승하고 후세대의 신앙성장을 기도로 후원할
우리의 두 어깨에 달려 있습니다.
먼저는 우리 자신들이 먼저 하나님 앞에 부끄럽지 말아야 하겠습니다.
마땅히 외쳐야 할 말을 해야 하며, 해야 할 행동에 책임을 다해야 후세 역사가들의
날카로운 비판을 면할 것입니다.

우리 교회는 사도행전에 나타난 초대교회의 본연의 교회정신을 계승 하고자 합니다.
그들은 하나님 앞에서 진실하고 뜨거웠으며, 성령의 강력한 임재를 경험했고,
이웃에게는 감동으로 칭찬듣는 삶이었습니다.
우리 교회는 이 시대의 요청과 하나님의 요청을 귀담아 듣고 세류를 거스려서라도
복음의 본질을 고수하고자 합니다.

‘건강한 교회, 행복한 가정을 기본 골격으로 세세한 실천을 통해
하나님의 마음과 사람의 마음을 시원케 하고 싶습니다.

이웃에게 사랑을 나누며 칭찬듣는 교회,
그래서 다시 찾아도 후회하지 않는‘바로 그 교회’를 ꠈꠔ봅니다.
