예수님께서 자신의 완전하심을 교회를 위해 유보하시고 교회의 모든문제를 자신의 것으로 받아들였습니다. 필립얀시의 말처럼 교회는 난파선처럼 낡고 위험한 항해를 계속 하고 있지만 승객들은 다양한 문제들을 안고 있어 언제 어디서 무슨 사고를 일으킬지 모릅니다...
하지만 교회는 갈릴리 바다 에서 풍랑을 만난 배와 같을 지라도 그 배에는 예수님이 타고 계셨기에 세상에서 가장 안전한 배입니다.
예수님은 인생사의 선장이십니다.
비록 현실의 문제는 겹겹이 중첩 되어 있어도 예수그리스도만을 믠고 그분께 맡기면 가장 안전한길을 갈수 있습니다. 예수님은 역사의 주인이십니다.

하나. 3대 목표와 10개년 기념 사업(선교,복지,교육,10개년 기념사업)
1984년 11월 11일 3명의 교우와 함께 주님백성의 모임이라는 뜻에 주민교회를 발족하여 작은 천막속에서 촛불을켜고 예배를 시작한 후 평택 원평동과 30년동안 성도들과 함께 꾸준히 성장하여 오늘에 이르렀습니다.
선교,복지,교육의 3대 목표를 세운후 1994년 노인복지 시설인 평강의 집과 인재양성을 위한 교육기관을 설립 목표로 하고 있으며 또한 세계 각국에 선교지를 돕고 있습니다.
둘. 은혜로운 예배가 있는 교회
신앙생활의 중심은 예배입니다. 예배는 하나님을 섬기는 행위이며 구원받는사람들이 즐기는 감사의 축제로서 성도는 예배를 통하여 하나님을 만납니다. 성도들은 늘 감사함으로 성전에 나아와 기쁨으로 예배 드리며 말씀과 찬양과 기도를 통하여 넘치는 은혜를 체험합니다.
셋. 기도에 열심인 교회
한날을 주님과 더불어 시작하는 새벽기도회 매집회시마다 합심기도 특별히 금요기도회를 통해 기도에 열심인교회입니다. 이러한 기도를 통해서 질병을 치료받고 문제가 해결되며 주님을 체험합니다.
