인사말

‘신은 죽었다’고 말한 독일의 철학자 니체를 아실 겁니다.
그는 무신론자입니다.
그런데 이해할 수 없게도 그는 목사의 아들이었습니다.
니체는 삶 속에 예배가 있었던 사람입니다.
아버지가 목사니 그의 환경이 얼마나 신앙적이었겠습니까?
얼마나 많은 예배가 있었겠습니까? 그러나 그는 예배에 실패했습니다.

세상에서 가장 무서운 것이 무엇인지 알아야 합니다.
예배를 드리고도 변화되지 않는 것입니다.
수많은 예배를 통해서도 변화되지 않는 사람입니다.
수없이 드리는 예배를 통해서 오늘 나에게는 어떤 변화가 일어나는가를 보아야 합니다.

오늘 이 시대가 왜 위기의 시대인줄 알아야 합니다.
예배가 없기 때문이 아니라 예배가 있음에도 무언가 기울어가고 있기 때문입니다.
핍박이라도 있어서 신앙이 식어진 것이라면 오히려 안전하다고 말할 것입니다.
그런데 핍박도 없습니다. 그럼에도 믠음은 식어갑니다.
예배가 없어서가 아니라 예배자가 없기 때문입니다.

하나님을 아는 지성의 예배자,
하나님이 영이시기에 신령과 진정으로 드리는 예배자,
의지를 동원하여 참된 예배를 찾는 예배자가 없기 때문입니다.

예배에 실패하면 실패하는 인생이 될 수 밖에 없습니다.
우선순위를 명확히 하는 인생을 살아야 합니다.
예배에 성공해야 합니다.
그리할 때 그 속에서 생수의 강이 흘러나며,
하나님으로부터 주어지는 회복과 삶의 부흥이 일어나게 되는 것입니다.
