VIP Eye APPLICATION description
An application for navigation assistance of visually impaired people.
VIP Eye is an Android application that is developed specially for the visually impaired people who are dependent on others for movement.
Considering sight issues, this application lets the user interact via voice commands. The application guides you about instructions on each page. Maps are provided to retrieve user location, destination, routes, and navigation. Camera along with voice commands traces the obstacles and makes the user capable of moving independently.
How to use?
1. Open VIP Eye.
2. Press volume down and speak your destination.
3. Press volume down again to re-enter destination or volume up to proceed.
4. After multiple routes from your location to destination are found, press volume down to enter a criteria for ideal path.
5. Add a criteria up to five times by pressing volume down, or volume up anytime to choose ideal path.
6. Press volume down to start moving.
7. Press volume up to start detecting obstacles. The application will guide the navigation of your route and inform about obstacles.
8. If you want to stop detecting obstacles, press volume down to terminate.
