1st PARA Urdu - Marifatul Quran Ala Kanzul Irfan APPLICATION description

Para 1 is from Marifatul Quran Ala Kanzul Irfan - معرفۃ القرآن علیٰ کنز العرفان
Marifatul Quran Ala Kanzul Irfan (معرفۃ القرآن علیٰ کنز العرفان) by Mufti Muhammad Qasim Attari with urdu tarjuma by dawat e islami.

A juzʼ (Arabic: جُزْءْ, plural: أَجْزَاءْ ajzaʼ, literally meaning "part") is one of thirty parts of varying lengths into which the Quran is divided. It is also known as para (پارہ / পারা) in Iran and the subcontinent.

Division into ajzaʼ has no relevance to the meaning of the Qurʼan and anyone can start reading from anywhere in the Quran. During medieval times, when it was too costly for most Muslims to purchase a manuscript, copies of the Qurʼan (Mushaf / Koran) were kept in mosques and made accessible to people; these copies frequently took the form of a series of thirty parts (juzʼ or para sometimes also called supara or suparah). Some use these divisions to facilitate recitation of the Quran in a month - such as during Ramadan / Ramzan, when the entire Qurʼan Majeed is recited in the Tarawih prayers (Namaz a.k.a Salah), typically at the rate of one juzʼ / para / suparah a night.

A juzʼ is further divided into hizbani (lit. "two groups", singular: hizb, plural: ahzab), therefore, there are 60 ahzab. Each hizb (group) is subdivided into four quarters, making eight quarters per juzʼ, called maqraʼ (lit. "reading"). There are 240 of these quarters (maqraʼs) in the Quran. These maqraʼ are often used as practical sections for revision when memorizing the Quran Pak.

The most commonly memorized juzʼ is juzʼ ‘amma, the 30th juzʼ, containing chapters (surah) 78 through 114, with most of the shortest chapters of the Quran e majeed. Juz amma is named, like most ajza, after the 1st word of its 1st verse (in this case chapter 78).

First Para is comprised of two Surahs mainly namely Surah Al Fatiha and Surah Baqarah partially.

Surah Fatiha:

Al-Fatihah (Arabic: الْفَاتِحَة‎, "The Opening" or "The Opener") is the first chapter (surah) of the Quran. Its seven verses (ayat) are a prayer for the guidance, lordship, and mercy of God. This chapter has an essential role in Islamic prayer (salat). The primary literal meaning of the expression "Al-Fatiha" is "The Opener," which could refer to this Surah being "the opener of the Book" (Fatihat al-Kitab), to its being the first Surat recited in full in every prayer (salaah / salaat) cycle (rakʠah), or to the manner in which it serves as an opening for many functions in everyday Islamic life. Some Muslims interpret it as a reference to an implied ability of the Sorat to open a person to faith in God.

The Holy Quran is divided into 30 chapters also known as Thirty PARA's. In this application PARA ONE which is also known as Alif laam meem (or Alif Lam Mim) PARA is presented. It is Para 1 of the Holy Qur'an with Urdu word for word (or word by word) translation.

When the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said to a companion that he would teach him the greatest chapter in the Quran, he recited Surah Al Fatihah. Narrated Abu Sa`id Al-Mu’alla

He then said,
“Shall I not teach you the most superior Surah in the Qur’an?” He said, ‘(It is), ‘Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds. ‘ (i.e., Surat Al-Fatiha) which consists of seven repeatedly recited Verses and the Magnificent Qur’an which was given to me.”Sahih Al Bukhari

Surah Al-Baqarah (Arabic: البقرة‎, "The Heifer" or "The Cow") is the second and longest chapter (surah) of the Quran. It consists of 286 verses, 6,201 words and 25,500 letters.

It is a Medinan / madani (or madni) surah, that is to say that it was supposedly revealed at Medina after the Hijrah, with the exception the verses with regard to riba (interest or usury) which Muslims believe were revealed during the Farewell Pilgrimage, the last Hajj of Muhammad (s). in particular, Verse 281 in this chapter is believed to be the last verse of the Quran to be revealed, on the 10th of Dhul al Hijjah 10 A.H.
