봄꽃의 만개와 향기 속에 겨울의 흔적은 사라져 버리고 축복과 번영의 계절인 봄이 성큼 다가와 화사한 풍요로움의 문턱에서 우리를 반기고 있습니다.
이제 섬유공학은 융복합 산업의 새로운 장을 열며, 산업 전분야에서 학문적 입지 구축과 연구개발 등 중추적인 역할을 감당함으로 위상을 새롭게 자리매김해야 하는 기로에 서 있습니다. 또한 융복합 트랜드가 산업전반에 걸쳐 미래비전과 방향을 제시하고 있는 대변화의 기로에서 복합 믹스테이지 학문으로서 마부위침(磨斧爲針)의 사명도 짊어지고 있습니다.
금번 한국섬유공학회 춘계학술대회에는 섬유공학의 위상을 새롭게 인식하는 획기적인 계기가 될 수 있을 렐만 아니라 진보적인 학문적 기술적 개발 동향을 관련 전문가들의 논문 발표를 통하여 확인할 수 있는 새로운 기회라고 생각합니다.
섬유공학 관련 산·학·연에서 활동하고 계신 회원 여러분들께서 이번 학술대회에 꼭 참석하셔서 섬유공학의 중요성을 새로이 인지하여 주시고, 발전적인 지식·정보 교환을 위하여 자리를 빛내 주시길 부탁드립니다.
