2016 SEC-AAAE APPLICATION description

This is the official mobile application for the 2016 SEC-AAAE Annual Conference.

Leadership was chosen as the 2016 annual conference theme because we recognized the need for executives to fully realize that leadership is not a position or title, it is action and example.

As leaders in the aviation industry, seasoned airport executives must recognize the importance of succession planning. And along the lines of succession planning, leaders must understand millennials now make up a greater percentage of the workforce. Understanding how to manage millennials and the technology they wield is a great asset to the industry. New blood means new ideas.

The 2016 SEC-AAAE annual conference is an opportunity to hear timely sessions on current industry topics, trends and concerns. The conference also affords attendees, exhibitors and sponsors the opportunity to network with industry professionals from airports across the region.

Hosted by the GSP International Airport in Greenville, SC, the 2016 conference brings the chapter to the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in a classic Southern setting that also boasts a distinctive modern flair. Characterized by a popular "Yeah that Greenville" attitude, this city offers the warmth and charm of hometown hospitality while hosting some of the world's giants of industry and technology. Home to Michelin North America, BMW Manufacturing and the Clemson University ICAR, the Upstate of South Carolina draws both the outdoorsman and the urbanite alike.
