2ª IP Taguatinga

Às 15 horas do dia 11 de julho de 1961, na QNE 27, Lote 16, foi inaugurado um salão de cultos, sob o pastorado do Rev. Paul John Cobletz, missionário norte americano, vinculado à Missão Oeste do Brasil, pastor da Primeira Igreja Presbiteriana de Taguatinga. No domingo seguinte, dia 18 do mesmo mês e ano, foi organizada neste local uma Escola Dominical, com 110 alunos matriculados, tendo como obreiro responsável o Evangelista Severino Francisco da Silva.
Sob a proteção de Deus, os esforços dos obreiros acima citados e de diversos irmãos, bem como pela transferência de outros membros, o trabalho desenvolveu-se rapidamente.

Atendendo ao pedido do Conselho da 1ª IPT, o Presbitério de Brasília, reunido em Anápolis, entre os dias 10 e 13 de janeiro de 1962, resolveu organizar em igreja sua Congregação da QNE 27, nomeando para tal expediente a seguinte comissão: Rev. Eudaldo Silva Lima e os presbíteros: Eudox Inácio Ramos e Sólon Emerick de Souza, cuja organização e instalação ocorreram, respectivamente, nos dias 5 e 9 de setembro de 1962, nascendo assim a Segunda Igreja Presbiteriana de Taguatinga. A referida igreja foi organizada com 196 membros, sendo 108 comungantes e 88 não comungantes. É uma igreja que já nasceu forte e forte continua até hoje, graças a Deus.

Nos dias 21 e 22 de outubro de 2000 foi inaugurado e consagrado a Deus o templo localizado na QNG AE 34 em Taguatinga-DF. No dia 08 de agosto de 2004 foi inaugurado e consagrado a Deus o amplo e confortável prédio de educação cristã.

Esta igreja reconhece a dedicação de cada um de seus obreiros, e de todos os seus membros. E, de modo especial, reconhece a gloriosa ação de Deus em toda a sua história e, por isto, Lhe tributa toda honra e glória.

At 15 pm on July 11, 1961, in QNE 27, Lot 16, opened a hall of worship, under the pastorate of the Rev. John Paul Cobletz, North American missionary, linked to Mission West Brazil, pastor of the First Church Presbyterian Wansbeck. The following Sunday, the 18th of the same month and year, was organized in this spot a Sunday School, with 110 students enrolled, with the worker responsible Evangelist Severino Francisco da Silva.
Under God's protection, workers' efforts mentioned above and several brothers and the transfer of other members, the work developed rapidly.

At the request of the Council of 1st IPT, the Presbytery of Brasilia meeting in Annapolis, between 10 and 13 January 1962, decided to organize his church congregation of QNE 27, naming for this device the following committee: Rev. Eudaldo Silva Lima and the elders: Eudox Ignacio Ramos and Solon Emerick de Souza, whose organization and installation occurred respectively on 5 and 9 September 1962, emerging as the Second Presbyterian Church of Wansbeck. On 21 and 22 October 2000 it was inaugurated and consecrated to God the temple located in NGQ AE 34 in Taguatinga-DF. On August 8, 2004 was opened and consecrated to God the spacious and comfortable building of Christian education.

This church recognizes the dedication of each of its workers, and all its members. And, in particular, recognizes the glorious action of God in all its history and, therefore, taxed Him all honor and glory.
