40 Hadith Al-Nawawi Indonesia APPLICATION description
Al-Imam al-Allamah Abu Zakaria Muhyuddin bin Syaraf an-Nawawi ad-Dimasyqi (الإمام العلامة أبو زكريا محيي الدين بن شرف النووي الدمشقي), atau lebih dikenal sebagai Imam Nawawi, adalah salah seorang
ulama besar mazhab Syafi'i. Ia lahir di desa Nawa, dekat kota Damaskus, pada tahun 631 H dan wafat pada tahun 24 Rajab 676 H. Kedua tempat tersebut kemudian menjadi nisbat nama beliau, an-Nawawi
ad-Dimasyqi. Ia adalah seorang pemikir muslim di bidang fiqih dan hadits.
Imam Nawawi pindah ke Damaskus pada tahun 649 H dan tinggal di distrik Rawahibiyah. Di tempat ini beliau belajar dan sanggup menghafal kitab at-Tanbih hanya dalam waktu empat setengah bulan. Kemudian beliau menghafal kitab al-Muhadzdzabb pada bulan-bulan yang tersisa dari tahun tersebut, dibawah bimbingan Syaikh Kamal Ibnu Ahmad.
Semasa hidupnya beliau selalu menyibukkan diri dengan menuntut ilmu, menulis kitab, menyebarkan ilmu, ibadah, wirid, puasa, dzikir, sabar atas terpaan badai kehidupan. Pakaian beliau adalah kain kasar, sementara serban beliau berwarna hitam dan berukuran kecil.

Nawawi, is one of the great scholars Shafi. He was born in the village of Nawa, near the city of Damascus, in the year 631 H and died in 24 Rajab 676 H. Both of these places then become nisbat his
name, an-Nawawi Ad-Dimasyqi. He is a Muslim thinker in the field of fiqh and hadith.
