Manusia secara naluriah tidak ingin terkena musibah, diantara bencana yang menimpa manusia adalah gangguan roh halus, sihir dan lain-lain.
Dikarenakan gangguan seperti diatas tidak dapat diperhitungan secara kasat mata, maka orang-orangpun mencari alternatif pencegahan diluar akal sehat, diantaranya ada yang menaruh besi tapak kaki kuda di angin-angin pintu masuk, ada yang menaruh sesajen dan lain-lain.
Padahal pencegahan di atas adalah pencegahan yang berbau syirik, tidak dibenarkan oleh islam. Lalu timbul pertanyaan, kalau islam melarang hal tersebut, apakah islam memberikan solusi menghadapi gangguan di atas?
Jawabannya,"Pasti"!
Sebelum memaparkan pagar diri islami, berikut ini ada suatu kisah nyata:
"Ada seorang pemuda yang istiqamah yang selalu mendakwahi orang kampung dan sekitarnya untuk kembali kepada Allah, ia sering berceramah, berdakwah mendakwahi manusia untuk bertauhid yang benar dan akidah yang murni, ia sering menegur agar orang - orang tidak mendatangi tukang sihir, ia menjelaskan bahwa sihir salah satu bentuk kekafiran, dan tukang sihir adalah orang jahat yang memusuhi Allah dan Rasul-Nya.
