Abdest alırken belli duaları okumak şart mıdır?
İlmihal kitaplarında abdest alırken her organın yıkanması sırasında okunacak me’sur bazı dualara yer verilir (Nevevi, el-Ezkar, Beyrut, 1421, s. 28- 29). Hz. Peygamber, her organ yıkanırken okunması için ayrı ayrı dua zikretmese de, abdestin bitiminde okunması için ümmetine şu duayı öğretmiştir.
“Ben inanır ve şahitlik yaparım ki, Allah’tan başka ilah yoktur. Yine inanırım ki Muhammed (SAV) O’nun kulu ve Peygamberidir. Allah’ım beni tövbe edenlerden ve temizlenenlerden eyle."
Hz. Peygamber kim bu duayı okursa kendisi için Cennetin sekiz kapısının açılacağını ve dilediği kapıdan içeri girmesine izin verileceğini müjdeler” (Tirmizi, Taharet, 41).
