Absolute Pro Artistry APPLICATION description
I've always had a creative passion for color and design. The talent of blending shades and textures manifested itself into the world of make-up artistry naturally for me at a very young age. However, growing up, my parents reinforced education and building a career based on "book knowledge" that would provide me with a sound future. So, that's what I did...at first.
I became a nurse with an insatiable desire to make my patients feel and look their best! Yet, managed to maintain my artistic skill by working as a freelance makeup artist with MAC, Giorgio Armani, YSL, Christian Dior and NARS. After 15 years as a registered nurse, I felt I needed more of an outlet for my passion of the art . I left nursing completely 4 years ago and am now pursuing my career as a full time make-up artist.
I still wanted to put forth my knowledge in healthcare and incorporate that into building what I do as an artist. I then became certified in aesthetic care. With all of my years of medicinal and artistic experience, I now offer my clients a full range of beauty care. Makeup applications, airbrushing, waxing, spray tanning, eyelash and hair extensions could all be obtained in one place by one person! I offer specialized attention to each client and you always know what to expect for your next visit. I've integrated both of my vocations, background and history into a unique marriage of artistry to create and complete your perfect look.
I use the best of the best products on the market ranging from Giorgio Armani, YSL (both for whom I still freelance for) to MAC, Dior, NARS, OCC,Trish McEvoy, Bobbi Brown and Makeup Forever. I've had the pleasure and good fortune of working with some of the industry's most beautiful faces such as Megan Fox, Jodie Foster, Cindy Crawford, Kelly Ripa and Natalie Distler , to name a few. I am also one of the few skilled artists around who is certified in applying individual eyelash extensions using Lavish Lashes. Not only to enjoy being an artist but i teach the craft as well! I am the makeup and skincare educator at the SONO Academy of Cosmetology.
