Active Review

Active Reviews are meaningful documents created by you, in your own words, based on your personal perspective, after completing your tasks. It is the world’s first general purpose notes-making standard developed by Scientific Research and Innovation Foundation in India.


The new Active Review app is a unique platform to show your intellect and grow your understanding through peer support. The Active Reviews created by you from the app will demonstrate visible progress made you in your everyday tasks, improve your performance due to better understanding and will help you achieve better results in all your activities.

The app user interface is very intuitive.All the content in the app can be created offline (without using internet) in English, Hindi and other regional languages supported by your mobile phone. However, internet is required to Send and Receive Opinions and Active Reviews.

As an Active Review app user, you can:
- Initiate Active Reviews in order to assign tasks to people so that they can complete it and report its outcomes to you. This will send a copy of your Active Review which can be edited by the receiver.
- Share Active Reviews if you are seeking confidential opinion on your perspective or reporting your task accomplishment to your mentors or peers. This will send a read-only copy of your Active Review to the receiver.
- Conduct topic based discussions with people in your contact, without distractions, through initiated copies of Active Review and effortlessly locate them in the app.

Finally, an Active Review document is divided into three sections - Reference, Review and Feedback.

1) The Reference section records the details of the task. The task can be, for example, but not limited to the following: Attend Lecture or Seminar, Read Book or Watch Movie, Buy Product or Shop Items, Provide Meeting or Employee Agenda, Attend Meeting or Event

2) The Review section can record your personal perspective, after the completion of a task. If you are struggling to complete the Active Review or your perspective is not clear, you can also ask people in your contact to edit it with their perspective by initiating the Active Review. This is extremely useful if the same task was completed by more than one person.

3) The Feedback section records the opinions of your peer or mentor on the quality of your perspective along with suggested improvements based on their experience, so that you can gain better understanding and obtain better results from your tasks. The improvements can be incorporated by you in the copy of the Active Review.

- Separate folders for each action to manage Active Reviews in an organised manner.
