AEA MLT Conference APPLICATION description
The Alabama Education Association, through its Human and Civil Rights (HCR) Program, is celebrating its 30th year of statewide leadership training through the NEA Minority Leadership Training Program
(MLTP). This program was created by NEA to enhance the Association’s ability to advocate for public school employees by increasing the participation of ethnic minorities in all categories of
membership in decision making processes on national, state, and local levels. AEA’s implementation of this program has enhanced participation of ethnic minorities as well as ALL members of the
