An online multimedia map of Batangas Province.
This is a mobile application that is designed for the people who loves to travel and wants to a have a road trip around Batangas. Using your mobile device, the user can access the mobile application anywhere he goes. However, in able to use the map the user should have internet connection. With the use of customized Google Map and GPS satellite intended only for Batangas. The user can select desired City or Municipality and which Barangay they want to go. The map will detect your location thru GPS. Afterwards, it will give you the exact path to follow to the Barangay you have chosen. It also includes details about that specific place. But, this mobile app doesn’t save locations. The app also features the different tourist spots in Batangas Province and the direction on how you can reach that tourist spot you desired to visit. There are also suggestions for nearby restaurants and different festivities that are celebrated around Batangas. This mobile application can contribute to the tourism of Batangas because this is a customized map that is designed and developed only for Batangas. It can help to the fast-growing tourism industry in the Province of Batangas.
INSTRUCTIONS
1. Click the Start button on the Main menu.
2. The map of Batangas will come out with a red highlight on the whole part of Batangas.
3. Search your desired location by choosing City/Municipality and Barangay.
4. Click "Search" button.
5. If you click the "Search" button, it will show the exact route of your desired location and how long you will be driving.
6. If you wish to go to the Tourist Attractions of Batangas, go back to the Main Menu then click the "Tourist Attractions" button.
7. Choose your desired tourist spot. It will show pictures and descriptions with a voice over.
8. Click on "How to get there?" and it will show the map, click the "Reload Map" button to show the exact route of your chosen tourist spot.
9. If you wish to look for Festivities of Batangas, go back to the Main menu then click the "Festivals" button.
10. Choose your desired festival and it will show pictures and descriptions with a background music.
