Animalia Education - Family

The Graeme Base Educational Suite focuses on the award-winning Animalia. This groundbreaking digital resources takes kids on a learning adventure through the amazing world of Graeme’s enchanting book Animalia, along with a new animated story, The ABC of Flying. This interactive and engaging program embraces all year levels of primary school. It is built around interactive literacy learning tools and provides opportunities for students to develop competence in relation to all learning expectations of the Australian Curriculum: English, Foundation to Year 6.

Students can meet Graeme Base in a series of video clips where Graeme relates anecdotes about the book and gives insights into his approach to the craft of writing and illustration. As well, the characters of Animalia come to life, introducing activities and responding to students as they play the games and complete the activities.
