Legislar, estudiar, analizar las leyes para proteger y enaltecer el trabajo, promover el bienestar general y la seguridad social, lograr la participación equitativa de todos en el disfrute de la riqueza y fomentar el desarrollo de la economía al servicio del hombre.

VISIÓN

Ser un Poder Legislativo Nacional, democrático, protagónico, pluricultural y descentralizado, que consolide los valores de la libertad, la independencia, la paz, la solidaridad, el bien común, la integridad territorial, la convivencia y la pertenencia de las leyes para ésta y las futuras generaciones.

OBJETIVO

Garantizar el ordenamiento jurídico del país y su adecuación a la Constitución de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela.
