Ask Mercedes is an intelligent virtual assistant which helps to explore your Mercedes in a completely new way. The app explains car functionalities to the user via augmented reality while the user interacts with the system via chatbot. This way you get helping and entertaining information and learn about your car in a playful way.

Ask Mercedes at a glance:
-Chat:
Do you have a specific question concerning the usage of your car? Simply enter your text or voice message into the chat and you will get a prompt answer. You even do not have to know the technical terms of Mercedes-Benz, just use every day phrases. Complex topics are explained multimedia with pictures, how-to videos or links in a simple and understandable way.

- Augmented Reality:
Your vehicles cockpit can be experienced via augmented reality. Therefor, an additional download package needs to be installed.

To use the app:
- Arrest the blue pattern to your ventilation nozzles
- Scan your dashboard by moving your device around to get an overview of all shown elements and select an element you are interested in
- Make a detailed selection either directly in the picture or in the text-box below (To give you an overall impression the picture shows a full equipped car. Some functionalities may not be available in your car)
- Get the relevant information in the chatbot
- Continue in the chat or go back to augmented reality modus

Please note: In a first step augmented reality is only available for the new E- and S- class (213 and 222). More models will come soon.
