Assistant Harmony Analysis

Assistant Harmony Analysis is based on CLASSICAL HARMONY as practiced by the great European masters from the Baroque era up till the 21st century. AHA is of great use to composers, students and music teachers. AHA will help you find the key, the degree and the chord type. The database consists of 12 x 8 major keys, 12 x 8 minor keys, 312 chord types and 13,884 chords. The analysis is European, therefore as close to the original source as possible.

AHA can analyse chords with a minimum of 2 notes (incomplete chords) and a maximum of 5 notes (9th chords). Thanks to the large database, rare chords are covered as well; examples are dominant 7th flat 5, double diminished and suspended chords (even as an inverted and/or incomplete chord). Assistant Harmony Analysis is free and ad-free. It has been tested with Android 4.1.1 and up. AHA was designed for smartphone and small tablet.
